Identity & Compassion

This interview was supported by Canon UK. At just 14 years old, Vic Lentaigne discovered photography - and everything changed. While her classmates sat through math lessons, Vic found herself immersed in the darkroom: headphones on, hands busy, lost in the quiet magic of film and light. For Vic, who has ADHD, photography quickly became more than a subject. It was an escape, a sanctuary, and a powerful tool for self-expression. Now an acclaimed London-based photographer, Vic is known for her tender, honest portraits of the queer community. From capturing the joy and intimacy of lesbian couples during Pride Month to working with major names like Louis Vuitton, Nike, Pat McGrath Labs, and the British Fashion Council, Vic continues to use her lens to celebrate identity, challenge norms, and tell stories that matter.
